Day
01-Arrive Calcutta and transfer to hotel in city.
CALCUTTA : Flower seller beside the misty,
ethereal Hooghly River; the majestic sweep of the
Maidan; the arrogant bulk of the Victoria Memorial;
the superb collection of archaeological Memorial;
the superb collection of archaeological treasures
exhibited in the Indian Museum. They're all part
of this amazing city.

02- Sightseeing of Calcutta, visiting: BOTANICAL
GARDENS - VICTORIAL MEMORIAL - ST. PAUL'S CATHEDRAL
- OCHTERLONY MONUMENT - EDEN GARDENS - BELUR MATH

Day
03- Fly Calcutta – Guwahati. Overnight
in hotel.
GUWAHATI
: Capital of the state, Guwahati is on the banks
of the Brahmaputra river. It has many ancient Hindu
temples but its main importance is as a gateway
to the north-east and the wildlife reserves.

04- Drive Guwahati – Kaziranga. Overnight
in hotel.
KAZIRANGA : North-east of Gawahati,
on the banks of the Brahmaputra river, is
the Kaziranga wildlife reserve, famous for
the last major home of Rhinoceros unicornis.
The park also has wild Gaur (buffalo), deer,
elephants, tigers, bears and many water
bird species including Pelicans, which breed
here. One of the standard ways of observing
the wildlife is from the elephant-back.

07- Fly Kaziranga - Guwahati and Guhawati - Calcutta
- Darjeeling.
DARJEELING
: Straddling a ridge at 2134 m and surrounded
by tea plantations on all sides, Darjeeling has
been a very popular hill station since the British.
Here you will find yourself surrounded by mountain
people from all over the eastern Himalaya who have
come to work, to trade or - in the case of the Tibetans
as refugees.

08- Sightseeing of Darjeeling,
TIGER HILL : The highest spot in the area
at 2590 m, Tiger Hill is near Ghoom, about 11 km
from Darjeeling. The hill is famous for its magnificent
dawn views over Kanchenjunga and other eastern Himalayan
peaks. On a clear day even Mt. Everest is visible.
GHOOM
BUDDHIST MONASTERY : This is probably the most
famous monastery in Darjeeling. It enshrines an
image of the Maitreya Buddha (the coming Buddha).
Foreigners are allowed to enter the shrine and take
photograph.

09- Drive Darjeeling – Gangtok. Overnight in
hotel.
GANGTOK
: (1500 m) meaning "Hilltop", is the
capital of Sikkim‚ and has a population of
around 30,000.

10- Sightseeing of Gangtok, visiting : HANDICRAFT
CENTRE - ENCHEY MONASTERY - DO-DRUL CHORTEN - RESERCH
INSTITUTE OF TIBETOLOGY .
TASHI
VIEW POINT : Situated along the north Sikkim
highway, from this point you get a breathtaking
view of Kanchenjunga and Mount Siniolchu - the most
graceful peak in the world. You’ll find it
hard to believe that this is for real - and not
a painting you’re looking at.
Day
11- Drive Gangtok – Bagdogra to
catch flight to Delhi and onwards flight
back home.
